Batman's toys and gadgets
Batman is notorious for his toys and gadgets that he uses when catching the bad guys and the Joker is notorious for wondering, " where does he get those wonderful toys"???? And that is the question on the minds of all Batman's enemies and fans alike. But those were the infamous words of the Joker. Because comic book superhero Batman is human and doesn't have any mystic powers like Superman, Spiderman or Wonder Woman, he has to rely on his brains and all the little Batman toys that Lucius Fox has created for him, that's according to the Dark Knight, prior to Batman Returns and The Dark Knight it was always Alfred who was the computer brains behind all his gadgets and toys. And since Bruce Wayne was strictly against firearms he has to figure out other ways to protect himself and help catch the bad guys.

You have to be able to Signal for Batman
make sure you can contact Batman from anywhere!
Through-out all the different Batman movies, animated Batman series or even the Batman tv series there's always been the Bat-Signal. It has a few different stories of how it appeared such as in the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton, Batman gave the signal to Commissioner Gordon so he would be able to contact him when Batman was needed or like in Batman Begins, lieutenant Gordon makes his own bat-signal with a large searchlight and cloth and the bat-signal has been used for a few different ways then it was intended as well. In Batman Forever with Val Kilmer, Dr Meridian used it to summon Batman in order to try to seduce him and the Riddler also used it to announce his own presences as well and in Batman: The Animated Series Commissioner Barbara Gordon uses the bat-signal when she thought her father was being impersonated by someone else.

But no matter who uses the Bat-Signal or for what purpose the one thing that is consistent is somewhere over "Gotham City" there's a Bat-signal that when it's turned on and the winged night crawler sees it, Batman will be there to protect the innocent! And now, YOU can have it too!!
The Bat-Suit
The Bat-suit is probably one of the most important item that Batman has to help keep him safe. It not only hides his real identity but his secret weapons as well. In some of the Batman series, the cape has lead weights sewn into the hem in order to render his enemies unconscious if need be where as in other series he has sharp blades sewn into the hem instead. He has sonar in the ear-pieces in order to get help from the bats at times and still in other series the cape can resemble a glider when he needs to make a fast getaway off the top of a building. And there's more under Batman's cape then just his utility belt as well.........don't be surprised when he pulls out..............
The Batarang
or as originally called Baterang
Batman Batarang Mini Replica Prop
The Batarang is another of Batman's weapons that have gone through some changes over the years. It started out basically as a scalloped metal boomerang in the shape of the bat. The batarang tied to a rope was what Batman first used for his grappling hook, but more on the grappling hook later. Over the years the batarangs were made to fold so they could fit onto the utility belt, some of the could be electrically charged and some could be rigged with explosives. With each movie that came the logo on the batarang changed on them as well. The batarangs in Batman Begins were more ornamental then anything else since they were never thrown, Lucius Fox had added blades on the batsuit that could shoot out of the arm instead. And in one of the animated series, the batarang is lined with fluorescent blue and hums while flying.............or maybe..........
Grappling Hook
Batman Dark Knight Grapple Gun Prop Model Kit
........one of the newer versions of the grappling hook. Until the mid 80s the grappling hook was simply one of the batarangs tied to a rope which enabled Batman to climb up the sides of buildings or make a quick exit from a rooftop. Well altho the grappling hook still enables Batman to do those things there's a little more to it these days. Now the grappling hook is a 3 pronged hook attached to a line which is stronger then any rope and it comes inside a gun. When Batman shoots it, it wraps itself around whatever object he was aiming at and with the flip a switch it retracts even while carrying Batman and passengers. It also can be used to pulled down bricks as well to knock out his enemies..........or maybe.......
Mattel Batman The Dark Knight Wayne Tech Tri-Fire Blaster Replacement Projectiles
.....or maybe he'll have the Tri-Fire Blaster from Batman Begins or the Thundarwhip from Batman Beyond or maybe the laser from Batman Forever or the Batgas pellet or maybe it could even be his Batthermal Underwear but whatever it is always remember that Batman is human after all and does get his own bumps and bruises so always remember to carry an icepack.
The Bat-Binoculars
and Batman's special Handcuffs
The Batmobile
1/32 Batmobile Classic Collector Edition Tin
The Batmobile is another very important weapon that Batman has to help keep him safe and over it's changed as well. It's gone from a sedan to a limo to a sports car to a hummer. It has feature such as the emergency Bat turn lever, automatic fire extinguisher, emergency tire inflator, bat smoke screen, bat-tering ram, voice control, police band cut in switch, mobile tracking scope, rocket laucher and can turn into the Batpod.........it also includes it's very own coffee holder........

To The Batcave Alfred
Do you remember??
Shakespeare head? Back in the 1960's version of Batman and Robin with Adam West and Burt Ward there was a remote button inside of the Shakespeare statuette that was in the library of Wayne Manor. This button was the access to the Batcave. And the Bat-phone, the red phone in Wayne Manor that had the blinking light when Commissioner Gordon tried to contact Batman. Over time it too got upgraded as well into a cellphone that looked just like an ordinary cellphone.

The Bat-Cave
And all of this is well hidden in the Batcave which is located under Wayne Manor. Originally the Batcave consisted of simply a tunnel and an old barn where the batmobile and batcopter, then it became a small cave with a desk, filing cabinets and a laboratory then as Batman got bigger so did the Batcave with a trophy room, supercomputer and forensics lab.
