Unlike the Sony, it will be connected to cable so I figured reception won't be a problem. To test it before wrapping I auto-programmed it but only 4 local channels worked. This one came with a yellow tape strip on the back stating that the battery MUST be charged before the first use so out of desperation I followed the instructions and it worked great after that!! Sharp clear picture, good color, sound a little "small" but has "presence". I like it. So if all else fails read the directions!"

Selecting channels with the up and down buttons is okay. . . there is no power button on the remote. So I have to go to the set to turn it on and off. Overall the TV gets a 5-star; the remote gets a 1-star."

We had had a pull down unit which had broken, after thinking about it, how many clocks, CD players, etc. do you need in a kitchen? . . .
