Origin of the 'Goth'
More than a quarter of a century ago, in Northampton, U.K., a certain rock band appeared: Peter Murphy (vocals), Daniel Ash (guitar), Kevin Haskins (drums) and David J (bass); they called themselves "Bauhaus", and the first "Gothic" band, in the history of rock, was born.
From punk to eternal
Punk and New Wave sounds absorbed a variety of influences from Glam rock, Opera/classical music, Middle Eastern music etc..., and then turned into the 'post-punk/positive-punk' movement during the early 1980s. Peter Murphy's charismatic character later on caused a break-up amongst the group; and he then launched his career as a solo singer in 1983. The other members, following their own solo careers, came together again as a group called 'Love and Rockets', until 1999.

Go Away White
The true "last album" of Bauhaus
Although once reunited, they decided "That's it" in 2008. This is truly "the last".
Sounds are somehow "nostalgic", reminds me good old 80's.
