Bawls Guarana

Bawls Guarana "took off" on November 14, 1996 in Miami, Florida. It was actually made as an energizing alternative to coffee by a college student. Bawls gets its flavor from the Amazonian Guarana berry, which contains a natural caffeine that's nearly three times stronger than the caffeine in the majority of sodas and energy drinks. The captivating flavor is, in my opinion, the reason the drink has been popularized among paintballers, gamers, techies, students, professionals and athletes alike. Of course, that list is not finite, as it grows in popularity with each passing day. Bawls reaches out to their consumers, with special editions such as "PaintBAWLS" for the paintball crowd, and Military Gift Packs for their fans in the armed forces.

Bawls actually endorsed one of my articles (which can be found here) on their Facebook page when I crowned them the Number 1 Energy Drink, which just goes to show that they're a great company that reaches out to their fan base.

Bawls comes in four awesome flavors. I could end this section of the article right there... because that's all that really need to be said. However, I'll dive deeper, and give you a nice little summary of the flavors. You're welcome.

Bawls Guarana:
The original drink has a crisp and unique flavor, which makes it difficult to describe. You'll see it in the traditional cobalt blue 10oz. bottles and the blue 16oz. cans. It's fizzy, and is so easy to drink, which is a refreshing change in comparison to the other, ridiculously syrupy energy drinks. The Guarana berry gives it an indescribable flavor. The best way I can think of to describe the taste is "pleasant."

Cherry Bawls:
The cherry Bawls retains that awesome fizz and that refreshing taste... but with the added bonus of cherry. I honestly can't play favorites with the flavors, I like this one just as much as the original. I sure am good at describing these flavors. Bawls recently announced they would be putting this flavor in bottles as well, so that now all four flavors will be available in both cans and bottles. Hooray!

Bawls EXXTRA:
Bawls EXXTRA is Bawls, but sugar-free. The greatest part is, it tastes the same, and has 50% more caffeine than the other flavors. So for those who dismiss energy drinks as unhealthy, I'd advise you to check out this product. The ingredient list has been health-nut approved, and the flavor has been approved by the highest authority of energy drink reviewers... myself.

G33K B33R:
Simply put, Bawls Guarana decided to make a root beer product, which they called G33K B33R in honor of all of their loyal gamer fans. It is the greatest root beer I've ever tasted. I don't mean to sound pushy... but if you don't try it, you're dead to me.

So whether you're a gamer (on PC if you know what's good for you), a paintballer, an athlete, or just a very boring person with no hobbies, Bawls is for you.

Bawls Mints (are delicious, and also) consist of the same content of the drink, but in mint form. They're small blue carbonated tablets, and taste really good. Each mint contains 1mg of caffeine, through Guarana. Wikipedia says that "These candies can be put into a bottle of Bawls to rapidly release the carbonation of the drink and mint to produce a large head of foam which often overflows." This is something I'm definitely going to try when I finish writing this article.
