The Nave of Bayeux Cathedral

Bayeux Cathedral Organs

Bayeaux Cathedral is blessed by two pipe organs, both built by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. The choir organ was completed first in 1861, then the great organ at the back of the nave in 1862. Both organs are classified as historical monuments in their own right. The compsition of the great organ is described on the Friends of Bayeux Cathedral site if you are interested.

Here at the second and third parts of a Choral by César Franck played François Neveux on the great organ Cavaillé-Coll in Bayeux Cathedral.

I found this information about Bayeux Cathedral very interesting. I remember an encyclopedia that we used as kids to help with school work and there was a wonder picture of this Cathedral but couldn't remember until I saw this page.
