Having fun in the family fishing boat.
All of us that fish with the familiy undertand that the children often have a very low attention span. Break up the fishing trip with some water activities like kneeboarding. Not eveyone can afford the ultimate ski boat so when it comes to water activities a kneeboard works perfect for the smaller boats.Wait till the heat of the day when the kids are the most uncomfortable so they really appreciate cooling off in the water. spend a few hours of fun in the heat of the day. Then go back to fishing in the evenning when it is a little cooler.
Don't forget the camera for all those precious moments when they are crashing and cooling off. They always love the day after when they can share with there friends on how many fish they cuaght or how many 360's they pulled off with out crashing. We managed to catch 41 fish and have about 3hrs of kneeboarding in the same day. Best of alll the cell phone didn't ring once and the kids never asked to play a video game.

What The Wife Wants While Bass Fishing.
My wife has enterened a new level of bass fishing with the Bass Fishing Extreme guide. I couldn't believe that my wife of all people would take such an interest in bass fishing. She really has enjoyed being outdoors with are two boys and myself.
While the boys and I where off bowfishing at night she was educating herself with the techniques that the pro's are using bass while fishing. Just the last trip she pulled out a 5Lb largemouth bass and left us men out in the cold taking the lead of are regular family fishing derbie. Guess she is the one to learn from now and not dad. Oh well as long as we are out there enjoying the bayou.
As far as what she wants. Quiet time with the kids. Don't rock the boat. Don't cross the fishing lines and everyone get along. Mind you a porta potty would be a nice addition to the fishing boat. Can't have your cake and eat it to it what i always tell here.
Now that she is doing so well while fishing the boys have starteted to read there mom's Bass Fishing Extreme guide to catch up on there fish count.
