Gladiatus - Hero of Rome is a free online browser based game. Like many other other games, it has the option of becoming premium, but is not required. It is easily possible to reach the highest levels with paying a cent. You start of with basic equipment. You can visit various shops in the city, such as Armour Smith, Weapon Smith and Alchemist, as well as travel outside the city to select a site to attack your enemies and level up. The map is reletively limited, however. There is also an arena used to fight other real-life-players and move up in your level league's ranking. Beating the champion wins you the jackpot. To equip items you Click & Drag items from your backpack to your inventory. Once your work your way to level 5 you can start a guild, upgrade your guild building and collect recipes which give bonuses to guild members. You can view your info/stats via the statistics tab. It also keeps track of how many people you've mugged. You mug people by tricking them to your own specific link (http://s4.gladiatus.com/game/c.php?uid=98874), then after they've visited the url your character muggs them, giving you gold and honour. After you've mugged them they are also given the option to create an account with your referal link.
To earn money you win fights and work in the stable. The higher level you are the more money you earn in the stable. You select how long you wish to work, the longer the more money you get. Warpfire is made by the same company that made Gladiatus, Gameforge. Warpfire, in my opinion, is a step up from Gladiatus. In Warpfire you start by choosing an alliance then going into your hanger. You can start quests, by new ships, refine ore, and more in your hanger. After that, by selecting Start, you go out into space. You control you ship with mouse clicks. You can collect ore, and fight enemies. It seems a little limited, but looks promising. Click here to play Warpfire.

In FallenSword you start with around 500-Something Stamina points, which allows you to travel the map. There are three areas to visit then you move around them, completing quest, fighting npcs, and other players. Fight npcs to gain exp and possibly items to wear. 1 move costs one stamina point is generally how the game goes. There is also an Auction House, Bounty board to place a bounty over another player, Item Lotterys, a Bank, and more. It is free, except for the upgrades. There optional upgrades that you need FSP(FallenSwordPoints) to buy. The costs range from 5 to $60. You can also complete online surveys, trail downloads, etc.. to receive free FSP. Sherwood by Maid Marian Entertainment is easy fun and easy to play. Controls are simply the arrow keys to move, CTRL to block, and CTRL+Shift to block. Its a 3D Enviroment without a login, so be sure to play on the same computer.
