Fit Yummy Mummy ~I'm 37 and I want to BE ONE!!

Doesn't it just roll off the tongue? Fit Yummy Mummy. There's something about being Yummy that really appeals to me.

I wanna be yummy again.

Today ~ April 30th ~ is my birthday. I turned 37 today. My daughter will be 2 in a few days.

I am not fit and I am not Yummy right now. :(

But that's all about to change!

Fit Yummy Mummy ~ I Wanna lose the Baby Fat

it's two years later and I haven't lost the baby weight . . . yet

Here I am 37 now, with a two year old daughter, and still carrying around the extra baby fat. Plus the weight I wanted to lose before I got pregnant!

I'm sure my story's not much different than yours.

I have tried tons of different diets, mostly before I got pregnant. Some of them worked, but none of them really "stuck"

Since I had Hanna I've just kind of given up, become resigned to this baby belly. You know the price I paid for having this gorgeous being in my life.

Here's the thing ~ I don't want this BABY BELLY!!

I want to be thin, and strong, and have energy, and fit into my frickin PANTS again!!!

That desire, and maybe turning 37 and knowing it's only going to get tougher from here sent me on a mission.

A mission, to find a lifestyle program I could follow. I could actually MAKE MY LIFESTYLE!!

It took me a while and some serious scouring of the internet, but I finally found Fit Yummy Mummy.

Here's the Fit Yummy Mummy herself

Fit Yummy Mummy ~ Why I am trying it

and why I think it will work

Holly is a mom, she's designed Fit Yummy Mummy specifically with moms in mind.

She's made it very flexible, both the food and the exercise portions of program.

It's only 90 minutes of exercise a week! (even I can do that) You can break that 90 minutes up however it's going to fit in your day. You can do 30 minutes at once, you can do 15 in the morning and night or you can do 15 minutes 6 days a week.

That makes me feel really good. 15 minutes. I BELIEVE I can do 15 minutes of exercise. Belief is really what it comes down to right?!

The eating program allows you to eat a wide variety of foods and focuses on eating a healthy, well balanced diet. ~ I like that, no low carb, low fat, just eat healthy!! Healthy is something I think I can make last in our household.

Of course Holly walks you through everything you need to know to eat healthy. She gives you charts and lists and everything a busy mom needs to stay on track. She even provides you with an example of one of her trips to the grocery store so you can really see just how it works. (and on a budget too, she lines out exactly what she spends and on what)

Built in "cheat" meals. She actually encourages you to cheat for about 10% of your meals, as long as most of the time you use heart healthy cooking. Build them in or use them for spur of the moment cravings, but nothing is off limits. That is really important for me, because as soon as someone tells me I can't have ice cream, you know I want ice cream!!

I loved the lens, Jackie. I'm 37 too and I know how hard it is to keep fit, even with two little kids to chase around the house. Great to know I'm not alone...;)
