Be Kind

Megan was inspired by my niece, Megan. I tried to create her as I see her.

Megan has a wonderful personality and a kind heart. That is her, here to the right. Can't you just see the kindness in her smile and her eyes?

I have watched Megan grow up to become a beautiful young woman and have been blessed to be reminded of how important it is to be kind.

Did you know kindness can work miracles. Really!

What happens if you are unkind to someone? That person more than likely will become uncooperative, angry, and want to get even.

But if you are kind to an uncooperative, angry person, you will find them softening and you end up receiving kindness in return, just like magic.

People will actually want to help and do things for you when you share kindness.

Be Kind To Yourself!

Be kind to yourself first. You are a perfect creation. Treat yourself with kindness when you eat, exercise, play, work, love, and everything else.

CHOOSE THE PATH OF KINDNESS
The more you extend kindness to yourself, the more it will become your automatic response to others.

Did you know you can strengthen your immune system by being kind to others?

Not only are our immune systems strengthened but even our serotonin levels increases in both the recipient and the person extending the kindness.

What is even more amazing is that persons observing the act of kindness have similar beneficial results.

WOW! Think about it. Kindness extended, received, or observed positively affects the health and feelings of everyone involved.

Oh, and kindness is contagious, so PASS IT ON!

To BE KIND means to extend your thoughts of kindness to everything.

Where will we be if we are not kind to our planet, our water, trees, plants, animals, etc?

The simple act of picking up a piece of trash on the ground spreads kindness, not only to our planet but to observers. You could turn off the water while brushing your teeth, plant a tree, pay a toll for the person behind you, buy an extra coffee for a friend or coworker, share cookies with a neighbor.........

It is truly endless all of the ways that you can be kind. Take a moment now and think of a few you can do.

Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again. ~Og Mandino
