    Good info. I must add creativity is not enough. It works only with proper attitude and discipline. Maybe another lens on this one?

    If you want to be creative, try reading a lot. So that you will have a lot of ideas. From that ideas, you can come up with your own style.

    A wonderful lens! On a subject I've been mulling over for a while (there's a chapter on "Design Methods" in my book Alice Through the Proscenium). I also found Twyla Tharp's book helpful - a strong argument for the importance of routine and method in creativity. I'll be back to re-read your post - lots of good info here.

    Awesome Lens! I love it so much. I try to live my life creatively, but sometimes "stuff" gets in the way which is very frustrating. I am learning to allow these moments to happen and go with ithem and find something creative within these moments.

    I so admire people that are creative & can use their creativity to make the world a happier & prettier world. I myself don't have a creative bone in my body & although I majored in art in HS, I can't draw or even come up with unique ideas.
    I often see people that can sing, dance, play and instrument, write and paint, while I can't do any of them.
    I'm bookmarking your lens so that I can keep on coming back & maybe some inspirational juices will start to flow. You've got some fantastic ideas and tips & I'll post them around my house. Thanks for the great lens!

    Another great lens i guess, i get interested with the lens since the title itself makes me click on it. And i was not wrong to do that. I find a lot of information in this lens for my study. I am creating my feasibility study and finding great ideas on how to make it more unique. And yes! this lens help me a lot to become creative in making those things..gotta love to see more lens from you sooner...i will be following your lens, hope more to come..5*s

    Marelisa - great lens. Highly creative, displaying what you are discussing and lots of fun. I find my creativity comes in bursts (usually early in the morning).

    As soon as you promised in the intro to expand my creativity with this lens, I though - hmmm...we'll see. And you were so right! In fact, I'm going to start a "swipe" file right now and this is the first item going in. I can see myself coming back here regularly for ideas. Just reading your tips alone gave me some things I could do immediately to make a difference with several projects I have on hand. Thanks so much for such an excellent resource. You obviously put a lot of work into this lens!

    Love this lens, it's rare to see such a perfect lens. It has great balance and meaning. Inspirational to all our creative hearts! It's long, but I soaked it up like a sponge.

    I just went back and viewed the Ken Robinson video on "Do schools kill creativity?" That man is absolutely hilarious and I so agree with him! Our schools do not value the arts, and there are so many talented, energetic kids who are discouraged b/c their talents do not lie in being still and doing well on tests, which is what is valued highly in our educational system. Great video. Loved it!

    To steal from your tip# 17, this lens is excellent, if not perfect. :-) You have some killer quotes here, ones that I'll be keeping for future reference. This lens is chocked full of useful info, quotes, and inspiration. There's so much here, that I'll have to read it over several times and return to it often. I like the bit about schools and creativity b/c I agree that oftentimes our education stifles creativity. And the thing is that kids are the all-time champions of creativity; they just often have it squashed out of them. They ask TONS of questions - why is this that way and what if that, etc? And often as adults we get inconvenienced or frustrated and try to shut them up unforunately. Thanks for the reminder that I want to encourage, not discourage that in my own child. Thanks for an awesome lens! 5 stars. If there were more, I'd give you more.
