Your present situation and mindset
Something doesn't seem quite right
So, you have a job. Probably Monday to Friday or Saturday. I would guess that on Sunday afternoon you start to think about Monday morning, that you have to get up before you want to and go where you don't want to be in order to pay for things you don't really get to enjoy. You need to pay for things that you need in order to have that job, like work clothes and stuff. You pay for the car that takes you there and back. You pay for the home that you don't want to leave in the morning but you have to go to work in order to afford it. Well, you know where I am going, it is a little weird, the lives we tend to live, isn't it?
The mindset we are programmed with is to live a life of work and sacrifice; change it. Replace it with the knowledge that you can live precisely the way you want to and that you can start that life now. A life of prosperity, freedom and time.

Why do you want change?
Life is meant to be lived to its fullest. My father has many little sayings, one of my favorites is: "everyone is obligated to live a happy life". Well, he says it in spanish and that is the basic translation. It's true.
If you are like many people, you have some dreams and aspirations that are different from your current reality. It is likely that these dreams and aspirations require, or include more money; a higher monetary income.
To be clear, most of us don't really want the money, we want what we can do and get with it.
First off, we can have more freedom to do the activities we want to do. We want to have fewer worries and less stress. We want to be more in control of our everyday lives, do we not?
It is imperative to know and understand that we fully deserve to be free, do what we want and be in control of our time. As a matter of fact, all of your wishes, dreams and aspirations originated in the divine. I believe that God actually gave us those dreams and with that, he gave us the ability and the right to pursue them and have them.
So as long as we live in a situation where we are not content and are not fulfilled, we are separate from where we ought to be. That feeling of discomfort, or perhaps we can call it pain, is telling us to change.
Change we must. To avoid change is to deny our desired outcome to "come" to us. In other words, we must "be" what we want to be; otherwise, how are we going to get to be that way if we don't?
"Being" is something we do from within, it is not going to get brought to us or given to us.

Wow! Can you imagine being able to stop working for someone else? No longer being obligated to work. To have the freedom to travel when and where we want to go. To buy the things we want when we want them. To afford the ability and time to pursue those hobbies that have been collecting dust in the archives of our wishes.

What you must do before you quit
This is serious stuff. It is the rest of your life we are talking about here!
So decide that you are not going to live outside of your purpose. Prepare. Use your capacity to think, to be creative and resourceful. You may want to start by writing down what you really would like your life to be like. Ignore the little voice that says it is unrealistic or impossible. All of your dreams can be achieved by you! The fact is that your dreams exist because of the simple truth that you can and ought to have them, period.
Once you have your dreams written down, make a plan. To get from where you are to where you want to be, you must engage in action and utilize certain tools.
If you want to create an income through a home based business, you must set up a functioning office at home. You have a computer, with high speed internet, do you have a fax, copier, filing cabinet? Decide what you need and set it up.
Now listen to this very carefully. Do not quit your job too soon. Create the business first, work on it when you can, in the evenings, at night, or on weekends; it is time and energy well spent. If at all possible create an income before you quit your job. Calculate what you have to make to pay your bills and create that. Maybe $ 200 to $ 400 a day will bring you up to par where you can let go of that paycheck.
There are ways to make money quickly. I will go into further detail in the next modules and will make suggestions that have worked for me in my transition.
So, once you have a steady income, then you could consider quitting your job. Be mindful of each decision. Having a job you don't like is a good motivator.
