    Mmm, beachcombing, that's the thing. I've recently caught a little hermit crab in a rock pool - the first I've ever seen in the wild. He got named Kermit, photographed all over and released back :)

    Beaches are such wonderful places no matter what the weather. Learning opportunities are just everywhere and just too wonderful to ignore! Blessed by a Squid Angel ;)

    Lately I have able to study nature at home. We have these huge black ants that are hanging out inside ! Our cat is going crazy because of them :) Great lens by the way !

    Y'know, when I was teaching at the college, this is what we did for one of our field excursions! It's a wonderful trip for children as well as young adults and, okay, older adults as well :) thanks.

    What a great study you have put together...thanks for sharing...I am thinking September (when the beach here in CT is nearly empty) would be a great time for a beach study.

    It's turtle season in South Florida, I hope to go to the beach next month and see some of the turtles coming up to lay eggs. Very nice lens. 5*****
