Woo Hoo! You've made it to Beachcombers! Squidoo Lens! Beachcombers! Bazaar is an online retailer specializing in Indian glass bangles, ethnic khussa shoes (you know, those gorgeous hand-beaded Indian flats), and easy-to-use henna tattoo products. In fact, we make all our products easy to use. We include instructions for everything from how to break in khussa shoes to how to put on glass bangles.

Beachcombers! eBay History
Asad and I started selling on eBay back in 2000 as a fun part-time thing. Finding that the ethnic items we had a passion for sold well on eBay, we decided to start a small business. In 2003 we became full-time eBay PowerSellers and attended eBay's annual conference eBay Live in New Orleans.While having a great time starting this new business, we became very involved in the eBay community, frequently helping out on the eBay discussion boards and groups. We were a Best In Stores finalist for Best Shopping Experience and we are featured as a Store Success story on eBay.
When eBay changed the eBay Stores logo in the summer of 2004, we founded the Doors2Stores program, to educate eBay Store owners to inform the eBay community about eBay Stores.
That fall, we were invited to join Voices of the Community, a group of eBay buyers and sellers that eBay hand selects to get new ideas and opinions.
We have been featured in multiple books about eBay including books by Deb & Brad Schepp (eBay Power Seller series authors) and Marsha Collier (eBay for Dummies author). We are also a proud member of PeSA (Professional eBay Sellers Alliance) and IMA (Internet Merchants Association).
During all this excitement, we grew from a very small eBay business to a full-blown internet retailer. We stared our own website, which is where the largest bit of our business takes place and we have created a strong Amazon presence. eBay has changed from the heart of our business to a wonderful advertising venue.
Recently, we have had a wonderful time breaching out into face-to-face retail via small shows and festivals. This has been fantastic! It's so nice to talk with customers directly!
Asad and I still run the business ourselves, but we do have help. Our 15 year old daughter helps out along with my 49-again year old grandmother. Asad's mother and dedicated group of friends help when we are in need of special assistance.
Though eBay is now a very small part of our business, we still keep active in the community that gave us our start!
