    I love the idea of making my own beaded flowers. I used to make simple beaded flower bracelets, but these look more complex.

    I saw some beautiful beaded flowers in a Capetown hotel we stayed in. It was done by women from disadvantaged communities.

    I made a necklace once with spiral stitching, very time consuming, but worth it in the end. I sold it for 3 times what I paid for the beads. My next project will be a flower slider for a necklace. Thanks for the great lense !!!

    Beaded flowers indeed look great. In India, women put beaded flowers chain/necklace to adorn the hair. They are beaded with a needle and thread.

    I'm making a beaded rose for my 11 yr old daughter's school stall. All proceeds from sales of beaded bracelets etc go towards helping underprivileged children. I'm so proud of her!

Thank you also SudokuNut..i love creating these flowers and enjoy teaching once in a while as well. It's a continuous excuse to shop for stray hanks or tubes of beads in unusual colors or beautiful little vases on eBay. And then you get to play!

    I must say as I get older my eye-sight isn't as good, and those delica beads are too small. I like to make my own beads and design jewelry. Is something I want to find more time for, Squidoo is so addicting. Oh, love the lens, *****. It stands-out!
