My pink cat's eye BEADED CABOCHON
I have always had a great passion for creating beaded jewelry. I love to try new things and I truly enjoy having a creative outlet. Making unique beaded jewelry out of sparkling crystals, semi/precious gems stone and seed beads is fun and rewarding. But, this craft can be very addicting and you can always lose track of time, once you started.
As a beader, I am always in search of a new ways and new trick on making beaded jewelry, and the internet has always been of great help. I've been crazy about seed bead lately. And I have found an online tutorial on how to make a BEADED CABOCHON using PEYOTE STITCH that I want to share with you guys! You can try this one, it's easy!
Here's what you need:
- Thread (about 1 yard or whatever length you feel comfortable working with, on your needle) and Needle
- Seed beads
- Miyuki seed beads

How to do it
1. Begin by threading enough number (should be even) of seed beads that fits around the edge of the cab. Then go through at least 6 seed beads from the beginning to make it circular.
2. String another round of seed beads using the tubular peyote stitch.
just continue until you have achieved enough rows to cover the edge of the cab.
As you continue to your last row, you will see that the last row of seed beads is sticking out.
3. As a finishing touch, instead of using the small seed bead to complete the last row, I used the miyuki seed beads. Just go through the first protruding seed then string one miyuki seed, skip the next protruding seed and go through the second protruding seed until the full circle is completed. Pull the thread to make the miyuki seeds come together and tie a knot to close the thread. Tie it tight.
4. Now, turn it up so the back side of it is facing towards you, then repeat step 3
And there you have it. My pink cat's eye beaded cabochon. How lovely???

You can use it as a pendant, or a focal point for your bracelet.
Anyway, I hope you understand my instructions. Since, English is not my native tongue, you'll find many grammatical errors in this tutorial. You can help me by rephrasing it. Thank you so much!
