Attraction marketing and internet network marketing is changing the way we do business. You can grow your business using incredible low to no cost techniques! This is one time where being new to the industry can work to your advantage. If you are coming from the "old school" mentality, it may be more challenging to change your mindset - but you can do it! Here are some resources to help you find out what attraction marketing is and how to use the internet to put it into action!

A Simple Change in Network Marketing Strategy Can Make Your Business Explode

Attraction Marketing is About Building Business Relationships

Did you ever wear yourself out chasing prospects and trying to think of creative ways of finding new ones? Did it make you almost want to give up? That's where I was less than two years ago.

Then I was introduced to the idea of Attraction Marketing and getting potential clients to come to me. This simple change in network marketing strategy was key to my business.

Getting your prospects or customers to come to you sounds great. But how do you do that? After reading Ann Sieg's "The RenegadeNetwork Marketer", I was convinced the methods I had been taught by my MLM were outdated or at the very least, incomplete. The book laid out the reasons the old ways weren't working for me and why using the internet to promote my business made much more sense.

It was a challenge, however, to shake off some of the teachings I had been exposed to in my MLM. And I found that sharing these new ideas with my upline was been met with some resistance, or at best, lack of enthusiasm. Progress can be painful. This is why I said it can be an advantage if you are brand new to network marketing, because you won't have to "unlearn" anything!

Generating Leads

The main element for lead generation or of getting prospects to come to you is to provide them with solutions to the problems they are facing. As much as possible, you want to get this information into their hands for FREE. Even in this technology oriented market, business is still about building old fashioned relationships. It's just that now, through the internet, you can build those relationships all over the world!

Step one is putting yourself out there on the internet and establishing yourself as someone who not only has the solutions, but can be trusted to put your customer's needs first, and making a sale a distant second. This is the opposite of the "leading with the opportunity/product" tactic so many of us have been taught.

No matter how wonderful you may think your business opportunity is, it may not be right for your client, at least, not now. Really listen to their needs, time frame, financial limits. As you build a relationship, you establish the reasons why a client would want to do business with you, and not someone else. This, however, means you may have to wait a while before the timing is right to make a sale.

Building relationships takes time, but the people that come to know you and turn to you for advice will be the people that stick with you for years to come.

Building on a Budget for You and Your Clients

The great thing about the internet for network marketers is that advertising your business doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. The small business owner is able to reach the same audiences as the "big boys" who have millions to invest in their marketing.

I wouldn't, however, advise that you compete for the same target market as big businesses. With so many millions on the internet every day, you don't have to. Address your marketing to a very specific group of people who would be interested in your products or services.

Use social media to learn all you can about your "niche" target market and learn how to attract them to you and your business.

Customer centered service which brings prospects to you is the goal of attraction marketing. For more articles on attraction marketing and how you can use social marketing to build your business on a budget read Mike Klingler's blog. It is a perfect example of addressing three different target audiences in one blog - cost effective indeed!
