The Wild Divine bio-feedback game helps me to lower my blood pressure safely and naturally

Having been diagnosed with seriously high blood pressure some years ago, I know what it feels like be told that you are suffering from the so called 'Silent Killer'.

The outlook seemed pretty grim, but I was lucky enough to discover the Wild Divine bio-feedback computer game. Not only did I find a safe way to lower my blood pressure; I found a wonderful resource that has helped deepen my meditation practice and given me moments of sublime peace and inspiration.

I became seriously hypertensive during a particularly demanding time in my life, and when when my condition became life threatening, I was forced to consider my options.

I tried various things with limited success, but what worked for me was The Wild Divine bio-feedback computer game. With it I learnt to control my blood pressure naturally.

Here is my take on blood pressure ...what I believe it really is, and how Bio Feed Back and The Wild Divine changed my life. changed my life.

I learnt to control my high blood pressure with The Wild Divine bio feedback game.

A diagnosis of high blood pressure can come as a nasty shock

It came as an unpleasant surprise to get diagnosed with dangerously high blood pressure. I knew I didn't feel brilliant, but I had put that down to working long hours.

Suddenly there I was with a blood pressure reading so high that I was told to stay in bed, given strong medication, and advised to remain very calm. Ha ha. The sheer impossibility of the situation did not escape me...trying to be calm and unworried whilst your life is in danger is a contradiction in terms and an interesting challenge.

Having raised blood pressure means your adrenal system is stuck in high revs and can't shut down.

Your body is constantly being given the message to operate on high alert and is commited to the fight or flight mode whether you want it to or not.

It will not respond to simple commands to switch off and relax.

The Wild Divine trains the body and mind to relax deeply

Hypertensives often find that everyone is an expert on high blood pressure

It can be surprising to discover the simplistic opinions and beliefs held about high blood pressure by many people. Even more surprising is the fact that high blood pressure is one of those conditions where anyone, nurses, friends et al, feel is is absolutely fine to make critical judgements about you as an individual.

Whether qualified or not, people seem to think it their duty to issue dire and explicit warnings about the nasty end you might come to, and how it is your own fault. Life style and habits get commented upon, and intellectual and emotional robustness questioned without a blush or pardon me.

Words are powerful things, and high blood pressure is always addressed with emotive and frightening language. It seems that GPs, nurses, hospitals, awareness campaigns and people in general are completely blind to the negative effect that their vocabulary might be creating.

The language used to describe high blood pressure is disturbing and destructive.
The words are designed to frighten you.
As high blood pressure means that your adrenal system is already overactive, and you are already in fight and flight mode, is this helpful?

Don't be frightened...just observe the sensations of high blood pressure in the body

Sit back and began to try and FEEL what having high blood pressure actually feels like:

Not the label
Not the idea
Not the opinions of others
Not what might happen
But just how the body actually feels

Is there a particular sensation that you've got so used to that you don't notice it anymore?

Maybe a restlessness deep in the legs and a general sort of urgency throughout the body. Or maybe a business in the head?

This is where bio feed back can really help

Bio Feedback retrains the body and mind

Bio feedback has proved amazingly effective at helping me recalibrate my personal default settings. There are quite a few systems available, and I haven't tried them all out. I think that it's a matter of taste which system you choose, but there are two bio feedback tools that I have used for the past five years: The first is a video game like no other called The Wild Divine, which I use in cherished moments of quiet and privacy.

My blood pressure has lowered, and my health has improved in many other ways. It's not cheap, and there are a few cheesy voice overs which you can eliminate quickly, but it is EXTRAORDINARY, and I thoroughly recommend it.

"Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future. The past is closed and limited, the future is open and free." ~ Deepak Chopra

Here Is The Wonderful Wild Divine Bio Feedback Video Game

Here is the wonderful, amazing Wild Divine computer game/bio feed back tool. It contains software to install on your computer and a feedback monitor that fits your fingers , measures your pulse, heart beat and a lot more, and interfaces with your computer as you play the 'game'.

A click through here will give you the oportunity to hear Depak Chopra talk about this programme. The makers of this video game are working at a very different level of conciousness to your average G.P., and this is what gets to the heart of its effectiveness . It is one of the best things that I have ever bought and I recommend it to anyone wishing to balance their inner and outer health.

Update: New Medical Thinking Matches My Observations.

Clinical research focuses on brain/kidney connection

A new surgical operation that involves blocking messages between nerves and the brain has been reported in all the press this January. It is reported to be highly successful in reducing hypertension,

I am not promoting this treatment here, but I do think that this new operation addresses my premise that nerve signals between the kidneys, the adrenal system and the brain, can send out false signals that cause blood pressure to rise, independently from the mental state of the patient.

Hopefully this new discovery will prompt the medical profession to examine high blood pressure from a broader perspective, and look to the amazing results that hypertensive subjects demonstrate after using bio feedback equipment.

Please Enjoy a Moment of Calm Before You Leave:

And good luck in finding your own way to health and balance.

Before you go ...

enjoy a calm moment right now

I find certain sounds and music really useful when I need a little extra help in switching off during my day...sounds of nature, especially water are really good; Bach and Mozart too. All cultures have sacred music, and its a matter of taste whether you find tibetan chanting or mediaeval plainsong better to relax to.

You can hear them here for free or click on through to view, sample and buy from the whole Amazon catalogue.

If you have high blood pressure, whatever you choose to do, do know that you aren't powerless, and that there are many things you can do to help yourself. Take your time, choose what feels right for you and have good heart.

A really diverse set of people have had a go on my game...The early phases are really easy and everyone so far has been fascinated, and some a little enlightened by it.

I wonder if my mother would be willing to use this. She has high blood pressure, and as you say, when she worries about it, it makes it even worse.

I have sat in the doctor's office and lowered my blood pressure using relaxation techniques but I never manage to do it on a consistent basis. I wonder what would happen if I did.

Fairly typical I'm afraid. It always rises a little when your pressure is taken the first time, and hospitals and surgeries have the same effect...it is known by doctors as 'white coat syndrome'.

If you practice conciously lowering your bloodpressure at home with a blood pressure monitor, and do it during and after all sorts of activities, you will see how it goes up and down...it will give you an insight into what sends your pressure up, and the confidence to say to the nurse...'Hang On, I need a couple of minutes first'.

I too have been struggling with high blood pressure, seeing my doctor about four times this year. His nurse rushes me into the room and immediately takes my pressure and I'm wondering if I had time to relax a little, my numbers would look somewhat better.
