Beatles Rock Band Review - The Good, Bad, and Ugly

Have you been wanting to kick your Wii,X Box 360, or PlayStation 2 of a level? Well, here's a Beatles Rock Band review that will give you a chance to do that. If you're like most of us that have gone into playing rock band, you know it's kind of a drag because you may not like all the songs selections that come standard with the game. Of course, you could download them, but that's not always easy and can get expensive.

The Kinda Bad and Ugly First!

This latest version of the Rock Band series features the Beatles, and the Beatles only!! Now before I get too far with slaughtering of the mouth about how great this rendition is, let me just say this. I like the Beatles, but probably will not like every single song included with the new version. So I'll have to deal of that. You only obviously get to play with the Beatles. So if you're not into the using the Beatles then this may not be the game for you.

Chances are you've heard some other songs at some point or another. I would have to say though it's going to be geared towards those people that are more familiar with and have some connection with their song somewhere along the way. Heck its the Beatles so most will relate to a song or two I guess. Beyond that lets talk about what's up with the game.

What Can You Expect?

The basic premise of the new title is to be one or more members of the band. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison or Ringo Starr. You get to relive the band's experience of starting out in small clubs, and pubs in England, and work your way up to super megastar status and worldwide phenoms that they became. The graphics include depictions of how the band evolved over the years and are really cool and very life-like. It even includes some of the weird styles that they were sporting in the late sixties and early seventies.

How's The Game Itself?

The game play includes new vocal tracks the let you score more points by actually singing in harmony with other people playing the game. Your equipment also furthers the realism by including the signature series guitar, bass, mic, and drums. You can actually get just the guitars if you want. Or you can order the entire limited edition set.

My Final Opinion!

Overall, this game rocks. It's a great edition to the Rock Band series and to me, sets the stage for further releases of superstar bands like for example, maybe they could do one on the Eagles or even Van Halen. No matter their plenty of bands out there that they can choose from.

Here's Why You Should Get It!

If you are Rock Band fan and enjoy playing like I do you simply have no problem with adding this to your rock band arsenal. This is the classic original rock-and-roll band. They set the stage for all others that came after them, playing through their song list and learning about the history of the band will be fun and challenging. Plus they are just great to listen to.
