    One of the most notable pieces of trivia to me about The Beatles is how in the South their records were burned and broken for saying they were bigger than Jesus.

    I have a question for anyone who might know. In the song 'I'm looking through you' it sounds like the beat is being played on someone's leg. The Beatles have been my favorite musicians since I was 6 years old (I'm 53)!

    When I'm at band practice, our bassist will frequently make answer in Paul's voice: "I'll play whatever you want, George, just don't yell at me." A good reminder of the kings that came before us (and of the importance of not yelling).

    What a great lens. I am a great fan of the Beatles and their musical compositions. Despite what some people may say about the quality of their music, I can assure you, speaking as keyboard player a lot of their music is highly complex and tricky to play and yet the finished product sounds simple, that's why they are regarded as one offs, especially Lennon and McCartney

    What an absolutely AWESOME lens you've put together here! I was lucky enough to attend a concert during the Beatles first trip to the US. I was only 5 at the time, but I have really cool aunts who took me along with them. I still have the purple t-shirt they bought me at the concert!
