We are often asked whether it's better to have personalized favors.  Personally, I have always saved each favor that was given to me.  By now, I have quite a collection of party favors from various occasions, from Cousin Maria's wedding to Aunt Betty's tea party.  To be honest, I don't remember which occasion each and every one of them was given to me, but the ones that are personalized bring back memories from that event.  I also find them helpful when I'm desperately trying to remember when my godson's birthday is (yes, I admit, I don't always remember all the important days off hand).  Thank goodness the date is printed on the chocolate bar favor I received!

This is not the only reason why I would suggest that you personalize your favors.  The truth is: little details make big impressions.  Personalized party favors will impress your guests more than non-personalized.  Personalization will also add the perfect finishing touch to your favors.  These tiny mementos will later also remind us of all the wonderful celebrations that have taken place in our life.  These are the reasons why I would recommend choosing a personalized favor for your event.

If you want to use your creativity and make your own favors, the most common way to personalize a favor is to tie a bow around the favor with custom printed ribbon.  First, pick ribbon colors, styles and fonts that suit your event.  Then decide how you want to tie the ribbon and what kind of bow to make.  We suggest referring to instructions on how to tie different kinds of bows, unless you already are a master at ribbon tying.  You can search articles online, or purchase a book on bow tying techniques at your local craft store.  Sometimes, however, the simplest bow works the best. 

Another suggestion is to use pretty custom gift tags.  These hanging designer tags add a great finishing touch to your favor.  Alternatively, you can dress up your favors with our wonderful collection of exclusive designer labels.  These self-adhesive labels come in different shapes and colors, and are probably the most carefree way to personalize an item.  Just peel and stick! At Beau-Coup.com, we are often asked for suggestions on the personalized text.  The most common text that we print is the name(s) of the person(s) along with the date of the event.  Who wouldn't love seeing their name printed on a poker chip or a chocolate bar!  For couples, it is exciting to see their names printed next to one another, and sometimes that is all you need to create a perfect favor.  We have to admit though that we love seeing orders where you have used your imagination.  When you customize a product with something that is meaningful to you, such as lyrics from a love song, or a poem that you wrote, it instantly becomes more personal.
