Most Beautiful Sheet Music to Play on the Piano

Ranked #2,208 in Music, #60,087 overall

There are many Beautiful Pieces to Play on the Piano...

I will discuss the piano pieces I like to play the most. They range from classical to Latin American to Korean. I recommend you to hear all of them - they're beautiful! I will be providing links to several sites, but mostly to SheetMus - the site I like more.

Yiruma

Yiruma is one of my favorite authors. He is Korean and his music is very beautiful with a slight tone of sadness. It's usually very slow and romantic - maybe that's why some of it almost made it to the Twilight film!

River Flows in You is a very famous piece. It should have been included in twilight, but it wasn't. I really like it and learning how to play it is extremely rewarding.

Moonlight is very beautiful also. It starts with the usual Yiruma sad tone but gradually becomes very emotional - I like it.

Destiny of Love is also very beautiful.

I'll stop writing about how beautiful Yiruma music is - I like almost all of them. Go to the Yiruma free sheet music page for a lot of it.

Raul di Blasio

I keep recommending younger students the Raul di Blasio sheet music. He is Latin American and his music is one of the most beautiful - certainly one of my favorites.

Melissa was originally written for his daughter. If you watch the videos on that page, notice how sentimental Di Blasio is while playing this particular piece. You can see how much he loves his daughter and this piece just makes me feel joyful.

Penelope is not my favorite Di Blasio piece, but good nevertheless. It's hard to play as the rhythm increases from very slow at first to fast in the middle.

Corazon de Nino is another excellent one.

Like above, I won't review every single Di Blasio piece - go to the site I mentioned above and see it by yourself. He is an EXCELLENT composer. Note: Some of his music is not really his, but recreations of other artists. It doesn't matter - he's still El Piano de America.

Richard Clayderman

Richard Clayderman was a French composer. He has so much music that it's virtually pointless to write about it here. Just go to that website and browse it - some of it is really fabulous!

Sheet Music from the Movies

Other music I really like is from Movie Themes. Some from movies like Star Wars, Titanic and so on are so well known that they are very pleasant to hear - remember: the more familiar a piece is the more people will like it.
