I truly admire the natural beauty of the world around. Sometimes, we just have to stop to smell the roses and take the time to enjoy the breeze. This lens gives me the opportunity to share with everyone the pleasure I get from observing and taking in gorgeous scenery. Enjoy !

Other top climate scientists are more hopeful but say we only have less than 10 years before it's irreversible and time is running out. Nature Knows: A simple slide show set to "Nature Knows" - an original song written and recorded back in 1999. Inspired by a dream I had, this is best viewed with headphones on, and when there's time to relax. Lyrics published by 3 different Poetic Societies! =8oO (My dear friend Marylynn La Gier assisted with some lyrics.) Photos are mostly mine- taken over the years at various beaches up and down the Pacific coast from Mexico to Oregon; with a couple from Hawaii tossed in. The underwater photos are not mine, but are in the public domain; and most are unattributed. The deep space images are from NASA. "... - So beautiful! Thanks for the photos. Do watch Planet Earth if you haven't already. It is a truly incredible documentary, and you will find a new appreciation for our amazing planet, how there is so much life in places we never knew existed, and how we are all connected. The footage is mindblowing!

- Hi Chris! You have a wonderful set of pictures depicting nature's beauty. They are a sight for sore eyes and after working in front of my PC for hours, I sure need to have a look-see of the world in many different places and these images of yours are really awesome! Hey, you might want to share this to other people in different ways. How about putting them on your own personalized checks ? You can actually do that.
