LOL! I had to give you a thumbs-up for the sheer entertainment value of your lens. I couldn't imagine what a beaver tail was, especially since it popped up when I searched "pastry" lenses while I was looking for delicious goodies to feature in my Coffee House lens.
I learned that it was a Canadian pastry, which puzzled me further, since I lived in Canada for six years and had never heard of them. My Canadian family has never mentioned them. Then I searched Wikipedia and learned that they were invented in 1980 - I moved away from Canada in 1976.
I'd love to try them, and since I'll be visiting up north soon, I must ask the family if there's a nearby place to buy them. Thanks for the delicious education!

It seems like I've heard of Beaver Tails but have never tried them, they do invite you to 'come on over'!

Those look really good. They sound like they're pretty much the same as elephant ears, but in a different shape.
