Quotes from Press Conferences
Mizushima Hiro:
- My character Ryusuke and I both once lived abroad. When playing Ryusuke I always try to keep that in mind.
- I had not guitar experience at all and therefore I had to cut a lot of hours of sleep for practice.
Takeru Sato:
- Since I have so many things in common with my character Yuki, I didn't have to spend much time researching and developing my role.
- I had no experience either and I even got blisters on my fingers, because I practiced too much.
Kenta Kiritani:
- I try to think that I'm the only one who can play this role. I don't mull over whether or not I resemble the original manga character.
Osamu Mukai:
- While putting an emphasis on the music, Tsutsumi-san also depicts the weak and strong aspects of people. He is very audacious to always implement unorthodox ideas into the movie on the fly.
Aoi Nakamura:
- When playing instruments all my costars look very cool. Movies about rock bands aren't just for guys. I hope lots of gir ls come to see this movie too.
