Learn More About Your Founding Fathers
Glenn Beck has opened up his own university! No, there isn't a football team, and you won't even get a degree when you finish, but you can learn a lot about the founding fathers. Although Beck is the president of Beck U, he doesn't teach any of the courses... he gets the real experts to do that.
You can become a student at Beck University fairly easily. All you have to do is sign up for Insider Extreme at Glennbeck.com. If you pay by the month, it's $9.95 per month... you can pay up front for an entire year for $74.95, which is the best deal (I used part of my income tax refund to sign up for the year, it was a great deal).
If you don't want to sign up for Glenn Beck University, you can get books off recommended reading list and study on your own. I doubt it would be as entertaining as the University (I recently watched Faith 101 on Demand and it was very good), but it will give you some important information.
Many of these books that are on the Glenn Beck University Reading list are free! When they are free to download, I have included the link to the free copy. If you prefer a paper copy and one is available, I will include a link to that as well. These early edition books that are out of copyright can be a little more difficult to read than modern books, but it is so important to read books that are closer to the original source, to find out what the people were thinking in the past. In the last century, we have lost touch with what made the pioneering Americans the great people that they were.

Preachers are the people that really made our country what it is today. Perhaps that is why our country has been blessed by God for so many years. Faith 101 discusses the preachers that influenced the founding fathers, and even talked about most of the principals that made it into the Declaration of Independence.Preachers also led their congregations during fighting during the American Revolution. Some of the Revolutionary Regiments were just men from churches going out to fight.

Frank Moore
This book contains a short biographical sketch of preachers at the time of the revolution, and a copy of one of the sermons that they preached. The people of the Revolution, that produced such strong people of character and spirit, were listening to sermons like these at the time.

If you take the Faith 101 Course at Beck University, many of the names in this book will be familiar to you. This book covers some of the preachers' political sermons of the time. Preachers that talk like this today would probably lose their 501(3)c status. Whether you take the course or not, these sermons are relevant to learn about today. Hope 101
Hope 101 is taught by David Buckner (you might remember him as the guy that passed out on Beck's show). He is a professor at Columbia University, and he took some time out of his busy schedule to teach this class.The books for this class are newer and are not out of copyright. You may be able to check them out at your local library (or digital library). I am including links here in case you want to buy them.

Freakonomics
I read this book several years ago. I checked this out from my local digital library. If you thought that economics class was boring, you still might enjoy this book. Instead of dealing with money, this book deals with how economics can teach you about the mob, cheating teachers, and other things that are relevant and interesting to the masses.

What are your rights under the Constitution? Professor Stoner doesn't really get into rights much in his lecture (although he does mention that the first amendments, the Bill of Rights, were ratified almost immediately), but if you want to learn more, there is plenty of extra reading that you can do.
