I've been there. I was a real estate agent. And I worked my business - dragging my son to appointments and featuring his cute face on marketing materials. I've researched the MLS with a baby in my lap. I've used naptimes to my advantage and I've found clients in Mommy Groups.

Seriously, the questions come up time and again.

Should I pursue real estate?

Will it would be a good fit for my lifestyle?

Can I make good money?

Will I have to work weekends and evenings?

The short answers? Maybe. Perhaps. It's a possibility. Sometimes.

But there's so much more to go into - on all of those questions floating around in your mind. And that's where The WAHM Agent: Becoming a Work-At-Home Real Estate Agent comes in. It answers your questions. From a mom who has been there and done that.

I love Sticky Notes!!

There are sticky notes through-out the book, The WAHM Agent: Becoming a Work-At-Home Real Estate Agent. Pink notes are for tidbits of extra info. Blue notes are personal experiences as I worked my real estate biz and juggled everyday life as a mom and wife.

The Most Important Thing

Real Estate is a business...not a job. If you're ready to build a business, find clients (and keep them!) and stay in it for the long haul, then you can have a long, fruitful career!

Thinking about a career in real estate?

Everyone has their reasons. What are your's?

In the beginning...

When I started in real estate, I wasn't a wife or a mommy. So I have the unique perspective of real estate from a single "I have all the time in the world to devote to my business" professional to a Mommy with a newborn who wanted to build her real estate biz but not sacrifice precious family time.

How About A Real Estate Mentor?

I'm not a cheerleader. Well, not exactly.

If you're looking for a feel-good "go into real estate, it's the best biz EVER" book, then you're looking in the wrong direction.

I didn't write the book so I could encourage every mommy out there to jump right into real estate. Because, honestly, the real estate business isn't for everyone.

What I give is an honest look at real estate and whether it can work with your life and fit into your short and long term goals. I want you to succeed. And I know it's possible.

So...for an honest perspective and down-to-earth information on juggling family and a real estate career, read The WAHM Agent: Becoming a Work-At-Home Real Estate Agent.

"This is the real deal on "what you need to know" NOT what you "want to hear.""

A little about the author - Tina McAllister

Who is Tina McAllister anyway??

I'm a mom. A wife. A licensed agent. A passionate writer.

And I want other moms to get the straight-up truth about becoming a real estate agent and juggling family responsibility at the same time.

I've lived it. And I've answered a lot of questions on various forums from mommies who were wondering if a real estate career was the right path for them. I came to realize that there was no resource, no single book a mom could turn to for answers.

So, I wrote The WAHM Agent: Becoming a Work-At-Home Real Estate Agent for those women (and men, too!!) who want to work from home and have the opportunity to make money in a challenging career.
