30 activities you can do on pregnancy bed rest

Are you on pregnancy bed rest because of a high risk pregnancy? Are you having trouble trying to figure out what to do with all that extra time? Then you've come to the right place!

Here are more than 30 activities that you can do if you're on bed rest.

This list was originally made for my sister. Just 28 weeks into her pregnancy with twins she was put on "strict" bed rest. I put together this list of bed rest activities to prevent her from getting the Bed Rest Blues.

To make bed rest easier on you

Stay comfortable with a bed rest pillow. A bed rest pillow can make it easier to sit up and will offer support for your back.
Before using, make sure to ask your doctor if you're allowed to sit up. If not, this rest pillow would be a better choice.

A bed tray is an essential item when you're prescribed bed rest. You can choose between a simple lap tray or a tray on wheels.
Just keep in mind that as your pregnancy progresses, it might become more difficult to use a regular lap tray.

What are some other activities that would be good while on bed rest?

For those that are wanting an update, my sister made it through 4 weeks of bed rest before she went into labor. Although she was only 32 weeks along, both Marley and Gordon were born healthy and both came home within a month. Now they, along with my niece, are keeping my sister very busy!
