Contents at a Glance
Leg Pillow
The most basic supportive pillow is a leg pillow. Leg pillows are designed to relieve lower back pain by supporting your knees and hips while you sleep.
Wedge Pillows
A wedge pillow has many purposes. The basic wedge is meant to be placed under your belly to prop it while you're laying on your side. This keeps your belly from pulling at your body. A dual wedge has the same purpose, except the second connected wedge also supports your back. A dual wedge can also be used to prevent you from rolling onto your back while you're sleeping.
Body Pillow
Straight
A straight full body pillow can offer the same support as both the wedge and the knee spacer combined, with the added bonus of supporting your head too.
Body Pillow
Curved
Curved body pillows come in a variety of shapes to offer you the exact support you need. The curved shape means you don't have to struggle to get your pillow in the right position. They are built to support your knees, thighs, hips, belly and head.
Body Pillow
U Shaped
U shaped body pillows are the ultimate in pregnancy pillows. They're designed to wrap around your whole body, giving support from all angles. What makes these pillows a step up from the curved body pillows, is that they offer support for your back too.
Back Pillow
A back rest pillow should only be used if you're allowed to sit up. These pillows offer support for your back and are a lot more comfortable than sitting up with a couple of pillows behind your back! And after your baby's born, this is an excellent pillow to use while nursing.

- While the size of my belly might indicate otherwise, I am definitely not pregnant! I have used a body pillow for years though due to back problems. I had no idea there were so many different styles and shapes. Maybe I need to shop in the Maternity Dep't for pillows, and shirts too! :)
