After graduating from college, a cheerful bee known as Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) is disturbed to find that his career choices range from making honey to managing the hive. Undaunted by his prospects and needling parents, Barry ventures from the hive and does the unthinkable - talks to a human.
When he breaks the strongest rule of the beeworld and talks to a New York City florist named Vanessa (Renée Zellweger), BarryB is astounded by the news - humans are consuming all the honey! Will BarryBee become our hero that sets the world straight? You'll have to watch to find out.

- Mooseblood - The rambling mosquito. He's on his way to Alaska for some real big game hunting for Moose. (Chris Rock)
- Ken - Ken is chasing Vanessa, showing off as a he-man, trying to convince her that they should be more than tennis partners. (Patrick Warburton)
- The Bensons - Barrys doting parents, always trying to dissuade him from being different. They'll cheer him on soon enough! (BarryLevinson & KathyBates)
- Pollen Jocks - The best of the BeeColony, Pollen Jocks are the only ones allowed to leave the hive.
