Welcome to Bee's Lensography. Are you ready to take a short tour of some of my interests? I love food and cooking, so you'll find LOTS of cooking and recipe lenses. I'm an artist, but I have only a few of those kind of lenses. Come back in a month, and I bet there will be more. Keep reading to see what I've been doing at Squidoo for the last few months.
A Little About Bee
Favorite Color: I don't have a favorite color. I have favorite color combinations. Colors don't mean much unless they're interacting. I love intense burgundy and other jewel tones together. The combination of blue, green and purple makes me happy.
Favorite Style of Music: I began piano lessons at the age of three and grew up loving classical music. I also played the saxophone in high school and college and made some money playing in jazz bands. I love good jazz. And I'm a big fan of Classic Rock n' Roll.
Favorite Food: Come on! Have you read any of my lenses?? Let's see...chocolate, garlic, olives, cookies, cheese,...hey I love food.
Favorite Holiday: I feel like I SHOULD say Christmas, but I am crazy about Halloween.
Favorite Hobby: That's another tough one. I enjoy weaving. I have an entire craft room instead of a closet. My craft room rivals anything Michael's can throw at me. I play around with fused glass, and I make jewelry, both silver and beaded. I design clothes (used to be a costume designer) and love to experiment with textile surface design. I have lots more I could tell you, but I'll save it for another lens.
Favorite Place to Live: I'd move back to Colorado in a second! We lived in Colorado on two separate occasions; once in Fort Collins, then for quite a few years in Boulder. I love the weather, the mountains, the recreation of Colorado.
Favorite Vacation: Since we are a sailing family, every few years (when we can afford it), we go to the Virgin Islands and live on a sailboat for a week or so. The last time we went to the BVI's, we took the kids for the first time, and they loved it.
Favorite Time of Year: I grew up in the midwest, where every season gets a fully opportunity to express itself. I love Autumn. And I'm quite fond of snow. I miss those things here in South Texas.
Favorite Place on the Web: I joined Squidoo in March 2008. I've been happily building lenses (and splitting infinitives) ever since.
