Happy Beer Can Appreciation Day

January 24 marks a very important holiday - Beer can Appreciation Day. On January 24, 1935 for the first time in history canned beer was available for sale. For the first time in history, ordinary people could keep large quantities of beer at home without worrying about it going flat or spoiling. Canned beer truly is one of mankind's greatest achievements. No one seems to know when the anniversary of this wonderful event became a holiday but we can all be thankful that it did. Beer Can Appreciation Day gives us the opportunity to enjoy beer and appreciate the many different cans it comes in. Enjoy this day by throwing back a few cold ones. Cheers!

About Me

Still Crazy after all these Beers...

I've been enjoying beer since I was legal. I used to be a bottle snob but ever since I discovered Steel Reserve I'm totally into canned beer. Sadly I'm cutting back. I really want a Harley and my wife says I can't have one until I lose 30 lbs. So as much as it hurts, I'm cutting back on the beer...
