Beer Glasses- The Art Of Drinking Beer

Many social traditions and activities are very associated with drinking beer, such as playing cards, darts, baseball, football (what's a football game without beer), tag, couch potatoes, hop scotch, coloring, painting, mowing the grass and other stuff.

The consumption of beer in isolation and excess may be associated with people drinking away their troubles, we glasses think as long as you use the correct glass and seek help for the troubles, its okay. Everyone needs a helping glass once in a while. Drinking in excess with company may also be associated with binge drinking but we glasses think it's the best use of glasses.

Getting an appropriate beer glass is considered kosher by some drinkers, we glasses, well, would like to demand it but as we don't have any power, the best we can do is be there when you want to drink a beer out of a glass.

You might find some drinkers of beer sometimes drink out of the bottle or can, (this is bad, don't do it!) while others may choose to pour their beer into a glass (the proper way).

Drinking from a bottle picks up the fragrant aromas of beer by the nose, so if you wish to appreciate the aroma of a beer, the beer must first be poured into a mug, glass, or stein.

Similar to wine, there are specialized styles of glasses for some types all beers, with some breweries producing glassware intended for their own styles of beer. I mean, you wouldn't put Miller's beer in a Budweiser glass, would you?

The conditions for serving beer have a big influence on a drinker's experiences. Of course, beer glasses don't mind if their hot or cold but we do know the temperature of beer should be just right. A lot of breweries will tell you to warm the beer to 54 degrees to drink it. This way you get the full flavor of the beer.

Colder temperatures will inhibit the chemical senses of the tongue and throat, and you'll loose some of the good flavor of the beer. However, we do know there is nothing like a good, cold beer to wash down the dust!

So go ahead, put us in the freezer and drink away!

If you don't want your beer to foam up over the top of your beer glass, pour softly. The process of pouring will have control on the staging of beer and beer glass. The flow rate from the tap, titling of the glass, and position of the pour into the glass all affect the outcome. And of course, the bartender. Some of them, really!

When pouring from a bottle one must pour slowly. This will put a little head but most importantly it will help keep the carbonation. The faster you pour the bigger the head and less carbonation. Remember, we beer glasses are only so big!

The more heavily carbonated beers such as German pilsners will need to settle before they're served, although many of them are served with the remaining bottle of beer. We think it adds extra color and flavor.

We have notice with the invent of the Internet that beer gets shipped all over the world. Beer drinkers comment on their websites and talk with their friends in other countries on chat rooms. They exchange beers from other countries, talk about what beer is great, and tell tall stories of downing 100 beers at one time. They do, we've heard them!

But what they never do is ship a glass with the beer. How are these poor people in other countries going to know the proper way to drink another countries beer if you don't send a glass?

We just want to let you know that when you put beer in a wine glass, they just cringe. It's almost more than they can bare. It's also one of the reasons their stems break all the time.

If you truly love your beer and your beer glasses, please, please, use the proper beer glass. Think of how cool you'll look with your own beer glass. Maybe get one that has your name on it.
