Beer Laws to Live By

The following write up was by Steve over on "The Opinionated Beer Page" While i agree with alot of what he said, like poor it slow and it does have a kick i don't know that i would keep it in the cooler. Could have been that i just got a bottle that had been on the shelf to long but i was not that impressed with the beer. Cool glass aside, not one i would buy again for the price.

Steve: Duvel (pron. Doov'l)is the mack-daddy of Belgian golden ales, regarded by most to be the most perfect example thereof. It's bottle conditioned, 8.5% ABV, and is just kickin' with goodness. It has kind of a lemony background to it, very effervescent, and when the bottle says "pour unhurriedly," heed that advice. It's very easy to have a glass full of nothing but foam. What made the experience cooler was that I had this out of my very own Duvel glass. It's just an overall good drinking experience. I think I need to always keep some of this on-hand, and there are not too many beers I say that about.

Warstiener is a German import that comes from the Warsteiner Brauerei Haus Cramer Brewery. I comes is three flavors Warsteiner Premium "Fresh", Warsteiner, and the Warsteiner Dunkel. Of the three the only one in my opion that is worth putting in the cooler is the Dunkle. As a matter of fact the only beer i have in the cooler at this time is Warsteiner Dunkle with the exception of 1 miller lite can that someone brought to one of my dinner parties and then drank my Warsteiner Dunkle. This was a flagrent violation of Beer law number 3.

While this beer is not as flavorfull as some other Dunkles its a very good choose and no one will ever accuse you of breaking BL#3
