How He Did It:

"I started in Feb. of '06 my training and
dieting began. I went to a local show in July of '06 and that put some fire back
in me. I decided to compete in a natural show in June of '07. I was still
dieting and going to the gym 5 days a week, cardio was 4 to 5 times at 30 min at
the most.

I hired a nutritionist in Dec. of '06 - I was
at 239 lbs at 10% bf and that is when the fun began. I was eating 5 meals a day.
My training was pretty intense all my training was heavy and intense. "

  • Give it you all, both in the gym and in
    every day life

  • Be in shape, not a shape

How She Did It:

"Diet had always been a struggle so I went
with the path of least resistance and focused on making exercise a habit first
while making smaller changes to my diet. Over time I gradually increased the
duration, frequency and intensity of my workouts and enhanced the quality of my
diet and the amount of tracking I did of both diet and exercise. I also tracked
my progress with weekly weigh-ins, measurements (and eventually body fat%)
monthly, and progress pictures whenever I could force myself to take them."

Advice to Others:

  • Set Realistic Plans & Goals

  • Think Big But Focus On The Small

  • Always Get Back On The Wagon

  • Find A Plan B & Use It

  • Track Your Progress

  • Think Positive

  • Just Do It

Wendy Noggle's Before and After Pictures

Before:
130 lbs

After:
108 lbs

How She Did It:

"I wanted to hire a trainer but being a
single mother I knew that was not an option. I heard about Bodybuilding.com and
that's where it all started. I began reading articles on
nutrition,
supplements and
workout plans. WOW!!
Once I started following a clean diet and supplements, it came all together with
in a few weeks."

Advice to Others:

My cardio is always done in the morning before
meal one

I either do 45 minutes on the treadmill at a
10%-15% incline at a speed of 3.0-3.5 or
HIT
training on the treadmill for 20.

My heart and soul have always been in Health and
Fitness.

How He Did It:

"Nutritionally, I continued eating healthfully
by adding more fruits, vegetables and lean protein sources to my diet. I would
choose the low-fat version of salad dressing or the diet soda at dinner.
To monitor my portion sizes I would user smaller bowls and plates to make it
seem like I was eating more food. I didn't restrict myself from my favorite
foods like pizza.

I train about 12 hours per week on a "one
body-part a week" workout routine. I used heavy weights and low reps to get my
results. I would do a total of 4 sets with the first set being a "warm up set"
doing about 12-15 reps.

If the machine or bench was occupied I would
go do an alternative exercises. I did abs usually every day, and calves every
other day. I also did 35 to 45 minutes of cardio each day using the reclined
bike, treadmill, and elliptical machine."

Advice to Others:

  • Diet and Supplementation is Key

  • A Strong Mental Attitude is the Backbone
    for Success

  • 45 Min. of Cardo Everyday

  • Lift weight Using the "One Body Part A
    Week" Program

I like it. Nice to see real people doing real results. I'm always skeptical when I hear a "before and after" picture set because some of those are taken the same day. Especially if you've ever looked in a muscle magazine. Good to read about people with a no-excuses type attitude. www.yourfitnessquest.com
