Beginner Drum Lesson Questions, Comments, or Suggestions?

If you have ideas for how to make this page (lens) better, be sure to let me know. Questions are encouraged as well. I have some expertise with drumming over the years, and I'm more then willing to share what I have. Drum lessons for beginners experiences would be an especially good thing to share. All you rock drummers could learn a thing or two here.

    Awesome! This is the best drum lesson I ever watched. I am a total beginner in this and I am glad I find drum lesson as great as this. Thank you. I like to compliment the camera man for viewing different essential views for beginners, It really shows it well. The picture of hand grip on drum stick is good. I can use this video together with drum tags I find here http://www.drumming4beginners.com/how-to-read-drum-tabs.htm Thank you again and hope I can hear updates for lessons.

    This lens gives a great start to beginner drummers.

    Just wondered if your 3 links for "drum lessons for beginners" were supposed to go to the same page or not. I got 3 different pages. The first one went to the lesson page but the other 2 didn't.

    If I was a beginner following this page I would be looking for Lesson 2. You have stated Lesson 1 : How To Hold Drumsticks. Maybe after the drumstick pictures you could have a link or a module on Lesson 2 : How To....... play a simple rhythm ... or something which will flow on nicely from the drumstick grip. For me and probably other people it is a good idea to have lessons written down to compliment your You Tube sounds.

    You have given great direction to getting people started at the drums with good pictures on the drum stick grip.

    I checked out your links. I was just wondering if the three links "drum lessons for beginners" were all supposed to go to the same page or not because I got 3 different pages. The first one directed you to drum lessons for beginners and the later 2 didn't.

    Also you have mentioned this is lesson 1. It would be a good idea to direct beginners to lesson 2- maybe under the last drumstick picture. I know you probably have it covered with a couple of your links, but if I was learning I would like to see the the words Lesson 2 : How To .........play a simple rhythm ( or something )

    It gives a good flow on effect from Lesson 1: How To Hold Drumsticks

    I remember being in a classroom, in early February. Blisters forming on my hands while both forearms were beginning to cramp from repetitive exercises. The sound in the room was not of drums, but rather the sound of drum sticks on old 2" x 6" boards with little rubber squares attached to them. The psychotic rhythm set by a masochistic individual with the desire to smell fatigue and sometimes blood. This torment continued for up to four hours a day on the weekends. The practices only grew more and more brutal as the spring lead to early summer. Then you were delighted with the outdoor practices, by the shadow of the bridge. The break in the day was filled with bridge fries and occasionally a dip into the river. Looking back I miss those days! Howdy Chris!

    This is a great lens. I'm just a beginer very new to squidooing thing. Can you please tell me how to get the big, bold link(Here's my favorite link) just after the intro' and the in text links. I can't seem to do it in my squidoo lenses. I have tried and tried. Please Help.

    GREAT LENS By the way. I gave it 4stars. If you get the chance please help me by critiquing some of my lenses. any rating would also be appreciated.
