Hmmm. . . I wonder if I really can learn to draw. I have trouble fitting my name on a signature line LOL
  • JaguarJulie Apr 28, 2010 @ 1:02 pm | delete
Ah, that I could ever learn how to draw! You have surely provided excellent tips, step by step, towards learning how to! I particularly like your composition tips ... the unbalanced vs the balanced as we newbies can see the difference in that example. Good to meet you.

What a great lense. I love to paint, but drawing seems to be much harder for me to do. I know that I need to practice much more, but can't seem to find the time. Thanks for writing this lens. It has really great information. Scout

It was a pleasure to read through this article (lense). You definitely put a lot of thought, consideration and time into accumulating the information and presenting it in an easy to follow manner. Additionally, many thanks for including two of my graphite renders (Wild West Foothills and Spirit of the Wild) ~ it's an honor to see them appear in such an inspiring body of work. Five stars, no doubt.

I love to draw, and need to do more drawing just for the sake of drawing. I tend to sketch out ideas for cake decorating, crafts, and coloring pages. Drawing and sketching is very relaxing for me, it usually opens my mind and inspires my creative side...

What a comprehensive, well-done lens! And I love the drawings. I used to draw quite a lot -- and I wasn't half bad, really -- but haven't in a very long time. I've considered taking it up again, and now that I've read your lens, I'm considering it even more.
