Hi!

Firstly THANK YOU for taking the time to read this lens, I appreciate it, and I hope to give you something in return.

The decision to learn affiliate marketing can be a wise and ultimately profitable one. You might be in the AWFUL position of having just lost your job. You may be in a position where you can not get a job (Not unlike myself in the past) and need a way to provide a better quality of life for you and your family. It is a wise decision, and one i can wholeheartedly recommend. It can be both VERY profitable and ultimately fulfilling business to be in.

The decision itself may be easy, but after you have decided to make a serious go of running an online business, WHERE DO YOU GO NEXT!!!?? What do you do to actually make money online?? Got you hey!!

Well you can waste your time and money and just go out and buy the latest craze ebook, get excited, never put anytihing you read to action, and give up 6 months later because you need to find a 'real' job as your money is running out. (IF you are going to go this route, send me an email, at least i can make a sale out of it, haha)

WHAT you actually need to do is just use your noodle. The internet is a MASSIVE medium that connects the world to each other, you have a virtually limitless audience of BILLIONS, all with a problem. YOUR JOB is to find a solution to that problem and then provide it to them. in a nutshell anyway, there is a lot more involved like setting up websites, managing affiliates, promoting, it can actually get quite overwhelming,

Back to the decision :D (I often get carried away)

(1)You have decided that you are going to learn affiliate marketing
(2)You have identified a problem in the consumer market (eg: Dog Training)
(3) You need to decide whether you will CREATE a product or Promote an already established product (being new I will recommend and thus highlight in this lens, promoting an established product, the essence of affiliate marketing)
(4) Search Amazon, Clickbank, PayDotCom for related products that you can promote.
(5) Build a website/review blog and promote it
(6) Make sales, analyze, scale efforts and PROFIT!!!

It is HONESTLY that simple. there is NO MAGIC FORMULA. The madness is actually in the METHOD to achieve those steps.

In saying that, you have to have methods to achieve those steps. You have to generate traffic to lead to sales. If you want to show up in rankings, to achieve traffic then you must learn SEO. THE METHOD to achieve these steps is what can drive you F**KING INSANE, but rest assured that help is merely a question away.

Join a Forum.
A forum is a community of like minded people, willing to help each other out. If you would like to join a FREE forum, i would recommend the WarriorForum. It is a mature and well grounded community. (digital Point is also another free option, but in my experience it is slightly less useful, but feel free to check it out) I am a member of warrior forum, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU join too. Another forum I can HIGHLY recommend, but am NOT a member of any more, Is Niche Choppers. It is a closed forum, meaning you have to PAY to get in, but a $67 (once only) investment is NOTHING compared to the money you can make with all the heavy hitters you have at your disposal. If you decide to join, i recommend looking up one of the moderators, Vadym and telling him Aeren sent you. He is a GREAT guy and would be willing to help you out. Lemonarian is also another moderator that is VERY helpful.
