Doug Green is a full time award-winning garden writer with seven dead-tree-books published.  He's a 30-year veteran of both the nursery industry and publishing with stints owning his own specialized plant nursery as well as being the Territory Manager for the eastern US for one of Canada's largest perennial flower nurseries.

 An avid sailor, driver of a 77 Triumph Spitfire and gardener, he lives out on Lake Ontario on an island near Kingston.
