3. the target website itself. (Websites that offer an affiliate program often have a link titled "affiliate program", "affiliates", "referral program", or "webmasters"-usually in the footer or "About" section of the website.)

Affiliate marketing is said to have become one of the most lucrative and profitable methods of marketing with many stay at home parents or people looking for a part time job/extra income, becoming affiliates. This is one of the most attractive features of becoming an affiliate. You can run your campaigns from home online. Affiliates often concentrate on just one market or niche; something they may already have experience of or would like to be involved in. An example is the travel sector. People read the review and if they are interested in purchasing, click the link and are taken to the merchant's website. The affiliate is paid a commission from each sale, typically 50-75%, and the vendor receives the rest. Most payments are made through Paypal, to ensure security. More payments are made by cheque. This is one of the easiest ways to earn as an affiliate and requires no investment other than the time required to do research and write articles and reviews.
