Rules are necessary for growing teens because this is the stage where most of them tend to become adventurous and rebellious. Without proper guidance, rules, and protocols, your teens will just do every thing they wanted to try even if it is wrong just out of curiosity. The first thing you have to establish is setting up a curfew. Talk to them properly and explain to them that going out late at night will most probably lead to troubles.

The second rule should be the proper usage of cellular phones. In this modern day, all teenagers have their own cell phones. It is really important because it is a great tool for communication but you should restrict them in using cell phones while driving or while eating in the dining table.Have time in knowing their friends. Spending time in knowing their friends will definitely help you a lot in making sure that your children is in good company. You definitely do not want them to be in friends with kids that are bad influence to them.

Ask your teens to bring home their friends. In this way, you get to know who their friends are.Spend quality time with them. You can both do activities like cooking or going to mall together. In this way, you get time to talk with her about stuffs. Encourage them to talk and tell you if there are problems troubling them whatever it is. Your children will definitely appreciate your effort in guiding them through their teenage life to become better individuals.
