The Belgian waffle is always a treat in our family. Belgian waffles are perfect for breakfast or dessert. They are so yummy and thicker and larger than then regular waffles. They have nice deep pockets so you can fill them up with syrup. I like my Belgian waffles nice and crispy on the outside yet soft and cake like on the inside. I like to smother my waffle with butter for breakfast, but my favorite treat is Belgian waffles with ice cream. Just sandwich ice cream between to Belgian waffles and you will be in pure heaven.
