We Believe ...
This foundation provides hospital and respite housing for critically ill children in their families. The mission is to promote the gentle cadence of normal family life during a child's medical crisis. Research shows that the time it takes a child to heal is greatly reduced when a family is kept together during treatment. Whether it's a welcoming home-away-from-home near Johns Hopkins Hospital or a place to reconnect at one of the beach or mountain facilities, this charity gives 94 cents of the dollar to support its programs. In addition, they provide a Hands On adventures program that allows ill children to focus on the future by experiencing "hands on" activities such as bull riding, blimp rides, and racing.

We operate five respite facilities on the East Coast; three facilities help families reconnect at the beach, two give families the chance to experience time together in the mountains.
Our hospital housing facilities are exclusive to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. One facility caters specifically to children in need of bone marrow transplants.
Children in our programs get a chance to participate in Hands On Adventures, which take place nationwide. Believe In Tomorrow currently has two national partners for Hands On Adventures that periodically host Believe In Tomorrow Children as special guests at their events: the Professional Bull Rider's Association and the National Hot Rod Association.
