We all know how easy it is to procrastinate, especially when you have a lot on your plate with work, kids, a spouse, etc. Ben has to get up early to do his workouts.
Affleck not only starred in, but directed, AND co-wrote the screenplay for "The Town". His wife Jen Garner told Glamour magazine that Affleck would get up at 4am to work out for an hour and a half, then get to work on the set of "The Town"!
So do your workout first thing in the morning, which has the added effect of taking advantage of your body's fat burning capabilities in a fasted state.

Avoid Eating Late, Don't Eat Bread
Affleck tries to not eat late at night, which cuts down on his total calories for the day. He also eats bread very little, if at all.
Staying lean or getting lean is pretty simple. If you eat more than you are burning through exercise and general activity, you will add fat. Affleck avoids this by limiting his calorie intake to around 2000 per day, and eating a lot of protein.

Ben Affleck Workout Strategy - Get Help!
Affleck has stayed in good shape over the years for many of his roles, from "Good Will Hunting" to this latest blockbuster, "The Town." He has used top-notch personal trainers to the stars like Gunnar Peterson, Jorgen De May, and most recently, former Boston Celtics Strength Coach, Walter Norton Jr.But what if you can't afford the hundreds of dollars per session that it costs to pay one of these guys? Don't worry. Excellent internet exercise programs abound on the internet.
But don't get trigger happy with your credit card! Do some research and find an exercise program that:
1. Will help you achieve what you are looking for (getting a six pack and building muscle are two examples)
2. Good reviews by ACTUAL people (not just some fake "I got a six pack in 2 weeks!" type scam. Do your research and you should be able to find some honest pros and cons for the program in question)
3. Won't require more time than you actually have to workout. (Most of us have a life outside the gym! But don't stress - only have a half hour or so per day to work out is more than enough time to get results!)
4. Doesn't require that you use equipment or facilities that you can't access. If you can't afford a gym (me either!) then look for a program that you can do at home with minimal equipment. Ben Affleck worked out both in the gym and in sparse hotel rooms to get his "The Town" physique.
