Ben Barnes
The first movie I saw him in, and the one that made me take notice of him, was Stardust
Next up I saw him play the dashing Spanish prince Caspian of Narnia and fell head over heels all over again. ;) That Spinsih accent, the brooding, the inner strength he never knew he had...HOT.
Upcoming roles: King Caspian is The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Dorian Gray playing the title character.
Take some time to read up on Ben and grab a amovie or two of his and you won't be disappointed!
Stardust
Ben Plays Dunstan Thorn
Escape into the enchanted world of chivalry and romance in Stardust, an epic tale starring Claire Danes with Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro. In hopes of wooing a beautiful girl (Sienna Miller), Tristan (Charlie Cox) promises to bring her a falling star. But he's in for the adventure of his life when he discovers the star is actually a celestial beauty named Yvaine (Danes) When an old witch Lamia (Pfeiffer) attempts to steal Yvaine's youth, Tristan must protect her at all costs, in this magical family adventure that will make you fall in love over and over again.Ben's part is brief and at the very beginning. He meets Tristan's mother at a marketplace and she sells him some glass flowers that will supposedly protect him. He notices that she is being held captive and he tries to cut her bonds but they magically reattach when he severs them. He cannot free the beauty he has just met but they do spend one night together and nine months later a little surpise shows up on his doorstep...baby Tristan. Ben's role is small but the whole movie is fantastic and you won't be sorry you watched it.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Price Caspian
More exciting than The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian continues the movie franchise based on C.S. Lewis' classic fantasy books. The movie picks up where the first left off... sort of. It's been a year since the Pevensie children--Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy --returned to England from Narnia, and they've just about resigned themselves to living their ordinary lives. But just like that, they're once again transported to a fantastical land, but one with a long-abandoned castle. It turns out that they are in Narnia again--and they themselves lived in that castle, but hundreds of years ago in Narnia time. They've been summoned back to help Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), the rightful heir to the throne who's become the target of his power-hungry uncle, King Mraz. And he's not the only one threatened: Mraz's people, the Telmarines, have pushed all the Narnians--the talking animals, the centaurs and other beasts, the walking trees--to the brink of extinction. Despite some alpha-male bickering, Peter and Caspian agree to fight Mraz alongside the remaining Narnians.Prince Caspian plays a prince who heard the wondrous stories of Narnia from his tutor all his life and thought they were legends. Then when his Uncle tries to assassinate him, he goes on the run. When he is attacked by guards in the forest and accidently comes across some menacing looking Narnians he blows a horn his tutor had given him to summon the Kings and Queens of old. In the movie we see Caspian grow from a boy to a man worthy to be King and a King ready to declare peace with the Narnians.

Dorian Gray

When a naïve young Dorian (Ben Barnes) arrives in Victorian London he is swept into a social whirlwind by the charismatic Lord Henry Wotton (Colin Firth), who introduces Dorian to the hedonistic pleasures of the city. Henry's friend, society artist Basil Hallward (Ben Chaplin) paints a portrait of Dorian to capture the full power of his youthful beauty and when it's unveiled Dorian makes a flippant pledge: he would give anything to stay as he is in the picture - even his soul.
