I have to admit, in the battle, Yvette was really good. Possibly even better than Ben. The jury also pointed out that Ben's audition was way better. Anyhow, I think he's an excellent singer.

Ben owns a tattoo shop which he started at age 16. He sings in a soul band at dinner shows. His nickname is Tattoo Ben. He's is reticent and modest and has an outstanding voice. With his tattoos, and his cool outfits, he's got the looks (and not to forget, THE voice, of Holland)

- I am Ben and Deans uncle in UK.I have been a musician for years.The boys have always been very talented guys...We have always known it...Now the rest of the world gets a chance to enjoy them too :o)

- Hi Redpill :o) Thank you for your lovely comments :o) The boys have been singing since they could talk.. My brother Papa Dean (their Dad) has always loved singing and the boys have soaked it up from him I guess...There is also a 3rd Bro, Jamie. Its a shame there were not 3 competitions in Holland last weekend because Jamie is just as talented and capable of winning as were Ben and Dean :o) We, the family, are sooooooo proud of them all :o)

- Hi there Lazy ;) Great to hear from you guys. I can imagine you're proud. When I first heard Ben sing (during his first audition) I immediately had goose bumps. At that moment I was convinced he was going to win TVOH. I didn't know there was a third brother to be honest. Are there any songs of him on YouTube, or elsewhere online? Just checked and found out he also does MMA like Ben. Interesting family you guys got.

- Thank you for that Redpill :o) Just like you, his audition was the 1st time I'd heard Ben sing alone...It gave me goosebumps too...And YES I was also CONVINCED that he would win....No question in my mind...And then Dean did the same thing.The whole family is totally knocked-out by last weekends events...But nobody was surprised :o) And now the show (Voice of Holland) has been bought by several countries...America among them...Ben is to be the 1st guest on the USA show :o) The word GLOBAL springs to mind :o) Watch this space people :o)

- I almost forgot to say....When Les and Dean (Mum&Dad Saunders) returned from the Popstars show on Saturday to their home in Hoorn...THEY HAD BEEN BURGLED!!!....Imagine coming home after all that incredible success to find that some SCUMBAG has invaded your home and trashed the place and stolen everything they could carry away...!!!!

- That's the exact reason why I named this page Upcoming Singing Star From Holland! (because Squidoo is heavily populated and visited by Americans. I wanted to let them know about this new singer from Holland :) What I especially like about Ben is that, despite his fame, he seems to keep true to himself, no pretense or anything. I like really like that. O and I do think Dean is a great singer as well. It's just that I haven't watched much of that other show.
Sorry to hear about the burglary. Makes you think that these lowlifes knew he was away and made their move. Anyway that just sucks.
