ben burtt is a sound superhero. while the visual ƒx of star wars were amazing a simular revolution was happening with the fantastic alien worlds generated by mr. burtt.
as if making luke's landspeeder sounds weren't credentials enough he also took on the role of film (hi-def video) editing on the star wars prequels. and everyone loves to trash phantom meanace but i thought the pod race soundscape was worth going back a second time for.
well i cannot gush any longer
