bengali alternative literature

Bengali literature has had almost all of his masters from the alternative stream --- kamalkumar Majumdaar,satinaath Vaduri, Amiobhushan, Manik Bandopadhya among the writers and Jeebanananda Das, Pradip Chowdhury, Falguni Roy among the poets for instance.We must admit that Tagore also tried to find alternatives out but he had become a stalwart and institutional figure after the 1st world war.

In bengali, alternative literature has had a great history till the 1992. After that following the footsteps of the others bengalees also have got the coma of world situation.There were only theories and no creative works.Pardon me, this is an offence, why am I using past tense. This is the situation till now.

I can announce my own magazine as one of the alternative, underground(compelled to be) bengali little magazines of this coma period. It is an irregular one named "Byas". I can consider only "Kshudharto Samay" of Tripura (another irregular magazine, post-hungrialist)to be named after my own and I don't know what's happening in Bangladesh.

Bengali literature is almost dead and it needs oxygen. We, the believers of existence of alternative stream, are still fighting the condition now here in bengal. But we are in real crisis. we may die any day and I'm using the word 'die' by any/all of its meanings.

No, I/we are not seeking your help. Thou art not my reader and may be you are making me feel proud for this. Don't worry, I love ya all. But even Buddhadev Basu( another stalwart of bengali literature, institutional figure among the modernist movement in bengali poetry) had said that if a poet has got more than 100 readers his honesty is to be doubted.
