Ever heard of Benny Hinn?

He's a Christian televangelist and faith healer; a part of the Charismatic movement. Benny holds worship services in huge stadiums, where people pay lots of money to attend.

One of the highlights of his services is the healing of the sick. Benny invites sick or injured people up to the stage where he hits them with his jacket (or whatever is convenient) and they collapse and twitch. Once they are helped to their feet they are "made whole" and led off the stage.

The Saddest Part

The saddest part is that many of these people have serious physical problems and they think that by giving him lots of money and having him push them over he will heal them. They just end up poorer and (sometimes) sicker than before their healings.

Benny's Prophecies

"The Spirit tells me - Fidel Castro will die - in the 90's. Oooh my! Some will try to kill him and they will not succeed. But there will come a change in his physical health, and he will not stay in power, and Cuba will be visited of God."

Would that Benny had been correct.

unfortuantely he is a charismatic individual and people look for leadership. It's funny to think but Hinn and Howie Mandel went to the same school at the same time in Toronto!

Unfortunately there are a lot of con artists and too many of them can be found dragging the Name of Christ through the mud

An aquaintance of mine is friends with Benny's brother Henry---they love their money and luxurey

I lived in a 'developing' country where Benny Hinn was very much hurting people there with his theology. Avoid this man at all costs.

Good lens, but why not customize your Amazon links to specific books that expose Benny Hinn's false practices and prophecies? The books displayed are his. They propagate his false teachings.
