War Eagle Arts and Crafts

Bentonville Arkansas hotels are crowded during the 2nd weekend in October with crafts fairs set up seemingly on every corner.

The 2nd Thursday weekend of October, NWA is overcome with visitors from all over the country. The arts and crafts fairs are in full swing. One of the finest crafts fairs in the country is located on the banks of the War Eagle Creek and Mill in War Eagle Arkansas.

It all started with the War Eagle and it is considered the Grandaddy of them all, however, there are numerous ones in the area that offer excellent quality as well as convenience. Some are hosted in malls, a few are in some of the hotel lobbies in and around Bentonville, and others are hosted in churches, and others are pitched wherever there is an extra space.

    I have heard it is less expensive to stay at the hotels on the weekends, because the business travelers have left the area. Is this true?
