About Bergerot House
- Bergerot.com - Bergerot House
- "The owners/occupants of the house were my great grandfather, Jean Andre, who passed away in 1932 at 88, and my great grandmother, Marie Louise, who passed away in 1930 at 95. My grandfather's (a.k.a. Bon Pere) sister, Marie Clotilde, lived there alone until she passed away in 1947 at 77. They were the only survivors of the six children born to their parents. The oldest, Albert, born in 1866, lived only 3-1/2 years, next came Bon Pere in 1867, who lived to 92, then Aunt Marie in 1870, followed by Auguste in 1872, who lived 1 day, Lucien in 1875, who lived 8 days, and last was Lucie in 1881, who lived 4-1/2 years. Life was a precious privilege in those days!" -Paul Bergerot
